Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team and take charge of our “Moving to the Southern Highlands” Facebook group. As a Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in curating an engaging and informative online space for newcomers to the Southern Highlands. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop and share compelling content, including articles, videos, and graphics, that inform and engage members about life in the Southern Highlands.
Daily Posting: Maintain an active presence by posting relevant content and updates to keep members informed and involved.
Member Engagement: Foster a welcoming and inclusive community by actively engaging with members, responding to comments and questions, and facilitating discussions.
Moderation: Ensure the group’s guidelines are followed, and maintain a respectful and positive environment.
Answering Questions: Be a reliable source of information, addressing member queries and providing helpful advice.
Event Promotion: Promote local events, businesses, and activities that are relevant to newcomers.
Community Growth: Actively recruit new members and encourage existing members to invite friends and family to join the group.
Analytics: Monitor group analytics and provide insights on member engagement and content performance.
Requirements:
-Passion for the Southern Highlands region and a strong desire to help newcomers settle in.
-Excellent written English and verbal communication skills, including an understanding of Aussie slang.
-Social media savvy with a deep understanding of Facebook group dynamics.
-Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain a sense of community within the group.
