Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and strategic Facebook Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company’s Facebook account, implementing strategies to increase our online presence, engaging with our community, and driving our social media campaign success. This role requires a combination of marketing savvy, customer service, and a flair for engaging storytelling to grow our brand’s reach on Facebook.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive Facebook strategy to increase brand visibility, engagement, and community size.
– Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) on Facebook.
– Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
– Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
– Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
– Oversee design (i.e., Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog).
– Design, create and manage promotions and Facebook ad campaigns.
– Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
– Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
– Become an advocate for the company in Facebook spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
– Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
– Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
– Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns.

Qualifications:
– Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
– Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
– Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
– Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO is a plus.
– Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
– Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
– Fluency in English.
– BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations preferred.

Technical Skills:
– Knowledge of Facebook’s advertising platform is essential.
– Experience with Facebook Insights and other analytics tools.
– Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and ability to manage publishing content.
– Basic graphic design skills for creating engaging posts.

Work Conditions:
– Must be available to address any urgent issues outside of standard business hours.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment.
