**Position**: Virtual Assistant / Family Law Paralegal
**Location**: Remote (Must be available during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday)

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to support the growth, maintenance, and operations of a solo practitioner law firm as a Virtual Assistant and Family Law Paralegal. This role is integral to our legal team and demands the ability to create and manage systems in a virtual work environment.
YOU MUST HAVE FAST INTERNET AND VERY RESPONSIVE.
**Key Responsibilities**:
– Implement efficient legal procedures and processes, including document generation, intake procedures, and data entry.
– Draft various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, memorandums of law, case law packages, and correspondences for clients, judges, and others.
– Conduct exhaustive legal research and prepare case law packages to present in court.
– Manage attorney calendars, case files, scheduling of appointments, court appearances, and mediation/deposition hearings.
– Prepare monthly billings, create presentations, and assist in extensive trial preparation, including writing stipulations and briefs.
– Maintain and engage in social media platforms and the law firm’s website, regularly drafting blog posts and content.
– Act as a liaison between clients and attorneys, conducting client interviews and maintaining effective communication, especially in emotionally charged situations.
**Must-Have Qualifications**:
– Great attention to detail and a good command of the English language with excellent writing skills.
– Well-versed in internet usage, website, and social media platform maintenance.
– Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Fast typing speed and excellent time management skills.
– Thorough understanding of law office processes and procedures, with client engagement skills.
– Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law.
– Ability to handle legal documentation and drafting, case management, scheduling, and coordination.
– Knowledge of Florida law and experience in working on family law, criminal defense, and personal injury cases is highly recommended.
– High-speed internet connection and proficiency in English language and legal terminology.
