About Us:
You will be working for an Australian based and online start-up company specialising in Women’s Fashion reporting to the Managing Director. Your position is to design, create and interpret womenswear, patterns and prints.

We are seeking a hard-working, committed and long-term team player who is looking for full-time work commitments with advanced English writing and speaking ability. The successful applicant must be able to work between 12PM-8PM AEST (Brisbane) time.

We offer a 13-month bonus as one of our many incentives.

About You:
– Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer.
– A strong portfolio showcasing your design aesthetic and technical skills.
– Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (or similar design software).
– Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, and construction techniques.
– The ability to translate trends into wearable and commercially viable designs.
– A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team.
– The capability to be able to interpret, create and submit Tech packs from concept to finalisation
– A keen attention for detail in designing and creating patterns and prints

What You’ll Do:
– Develop and create new clothing/accessory lines according to brand objectives and seasonal trends.
– Conduct trend research and analysis.
– Sketch and finalize designs, including flats, technical drawings, and mood boards.
– Source materials and collaborate with suppliers.
– Oversee the sampling process and provide feedback on prototypes.
– Work closely with the production team to ensure garments meet quality standards.
– Provide weekly reports and attend Microsoft Teams conference calls with the Managing Director
– Administrative duties

To be successful, it is essential that you will have:
– Advanced skills with Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
– Advanced skill level speaking and writing in English
– Neat and legible handwriting
– Great communicator
– Demonstrate very good attention to detail
– Extremely organised, efficient and accurate
– Multi-task and a self-starter with the ability to work and be motivated independently
– Advanced skill in Microsoft Office and Google’s Office suite (Docs, Sheets, Notes, etc)
– Ability and willingness to deliver full-time hours in the event of power outages and other events.

Remote Working Conditions:
– Good Reliable Internet is a must
– A quiet area to conduct calls a must
– Reliable good power – or have generator
– Laptop or PC (Windows) with Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
