Responsibilities:

1. Design Development: Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop fashion designs that align with the brand’s vision and aesthetic. Transform daydreams into tangible design concepts that convey a sense of ethereal beauty, profound introspection, and empowerment.

2. Trend Research: Stay current with the latest fashion trends, emerging styles, and luxury fashion industry developments. Utilize this knowledge to infuse contemporary elements into the design process while maintaining the brand’s identity.

3. Sketching and Illustration: Create detailed sketches and illustrations to communicate design ideas, incorporating intricate details, fabrics, colors, and textures. Present and articulate your vision effectively to the creative team.

4. Material Selection: Collaborate with suppliers and sourcing teams to identify and select high-quality materials, fabrics, and trims that align with the design concept. Maintain a strong understanding of fabric properties, construction techniques, and production processes.

5. Prototype Development: Work closely with patternmakers, sample makers, and production teams to translate design concepts into physical prototypes. Ensure that the design intent is accurately realized during the sample development phase.

6. Quality Control: Participate in fittings and garment evaluations to ensure the highest quality, fit, and finish standards. Identify and address any design or construction issues promptly.

7. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and production, to ensure seamless execution of design concepts. Communicate design specifications and requirements clearly and concisely.

8. Brand Alignment: Uphold the brand’s values and aesthetic integrity in all design work. Contribute to developing design guidelines and style standards to maintain a cohesive brand identity across collections.

Requirements:

1. Proven Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Fashion Designer (or equivalent), preferably in luxury fashion or high-end designer brands. She has demonstrated the ability to create innovative and unique designs that reflect a strong creative vision.

2. Creative Vision: A keen eye for fashion and trends and the ability to think outside the box and push boundaries. Ability to translate abstract concepts and daydreams into tangible design concepts.

3. Technical Skills: Proficient in sketching and illustration techniques, with excellent knowledge of garment construction, draping, and patternmaking. Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is preferred.

4. Fashion Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the luxury fashion market, including key players, trends, and consumer preferences. Knowledge of sustainable and ethical practices in fashion is a plus.

5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of craftsmanship. Ability to ensure the highest quality in design execution, fit, and finishing.

6. Collaboration and Adaptability: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Flexibility and adaptability to evolving design requirements and feedback.
