Logistics Assistant Position

Are you ready to join a dynamic and growing private label company? We’re on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Logistics Assistant to join our team. This part-time position, starting at 4 hours a day 5 days a week (Monday through Friday) offers a fantastic opportunity to dive into the world of logistics and inventory management. There is the potential for a transition to a full-time role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Logistics Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in optimizing our inventory management process on the Amazon platform. Your responsibilities will include:

– Maintaining In-Stock Rates: Ensure a consistent supply of inventory to meet customer demand.

– Optimizing Storage Fees: Implement strategies to maximize cost efficiency in storage solutions.

– Minimizing Overstock: Analyze inventory levels to minimize excess stock.

– Optimizing Shipping Costs: Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to streamline shipping processes.

– Booking Shipments with Freight Forwarders: Facilitate smooth transportation of goods.

– Creating Shipments in Seller Central: Utilize Seller Central to manage and track shipments.

– Providing Shipping Labels to Suppliers: Ensure suppliers have the necessary documentation for efficient shipping.

– Maintaining Landed Costs in Inventory Tracking Software: Keep accurate records of all costs associated with inventory.

– Record Keeping for Shipping Invoices: Organize and manage shipping-related documentation.

– Updating Tracking IDs in Seller Central: Keep tracking information up-to-date for accurate order tracking.

– Maintaining Accurate Shipping Windows in Seller Central: Ensure timely and reliable delivery windows for customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

– Excellent written and spoken English.

– Critical thinking and analytical skills with a strong grasp of mathematics and logic.

– Proficient in spreadsheet applications.

– Comfortable with learning and adapting to new applications and software.

– Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

– While prior experience in Amazon and logistics management is preferred, we are open to training the right candidate.

– A reliable computer with fast internet access is essential.
