In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to fenestration estimation. Your main responsibilities will include sourcing and attracting clients, conducting assessments, coordinating with project managers, managing project databases, and maintaining an organized filing system.

To succeed in this position, it is essential to have experience working in fenestration estimation. You should also possess strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential client information. Previous experience in a similar role would be highly desirable.

Job Description
-Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and customer requirements to determine the scope of work.
-Analyze and quantify materials, labor, and equipment required for each fenestration project.
-Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals based on the project scope and specifications.
-Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for fenestration materials.
-Maintain a comprehensive database of fenestration products, pricing, and specifications.
-Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and pricing changes to ensure accurate cost estimation.
-Work closely with project managers and sales teams to review estimates and provide support during the bidding process.
-Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution.
Identify and communicate potential risks or challenges in fenestration projects that may impact cost or timeline.
-Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, clarifying project details, and resolving any issues that arise during the estimation process.
-Continuously improve estimating processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
-Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications
-Proven experience as an Australian Fenestration Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
-Logical Architecture Experience
-Strong knowledge of fenestration systems, including windows, doors, and related components.
-Familiarity with architectural drawings, project specifications, and construction documents.
-Proficient in using estimating software and tools to prepare accurate cost estimates.
-Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams, vendors, and customers.
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
-Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
-Professional certifications in estimating or fenestration-related fields (desired).
-Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
