Figma email designer. Should know AUTO LAYOUT

We are looking for a talented and experienced designer who can take copy and concepts through a briefing and create converting E-mail designs in Figma. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing E-mails or landing pages for ecommerce brands in Figma and knowledge of current trends in E-mail design.

You will be working with a young and hungry team who are obsessed about creating the best possible E-mails for their clients. You will be designing E-mails for big ecommerce brands in the Netherlands and around the world.

Objectives of this role:

– Work on a wide range of E-mail designs for various brands with various end goals, like education, sales, social proof and more.
– Ensure that the E-mail designs meet high level standards to visually hook recipients in, maintaining their attention and making them go through with the desired action. They should also represent the company or client appropriately through the right branding.
– Work independently as well as cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects.
– Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities.
– Update and maintain internal databases for designs.

Responsibilities:

– Coordinates with internal teams, including marketing, in the design concept phase through completion of a project.
– Creates high level E-mail designs in Figma.
– Meets deadlines.
– Processes feedback quickly.
– Keeps up to date with the latest trends in Ecommerce E-mail design and landing page design.

Required skills and qualifications:

– Should know Figma AUTO LAYOUT
– Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
– Thorough experience with Figma. Big plus if you also have experience with other design programs like Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects, Premiere Pro etc.)
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
– Desire to continue building your skill set with education and training (we have internal resources for this as well).

Nice to have:

– Big plus if you have previous experience with E-mail design for Ecommerce brands.
– Big plus if you have previous experience with landing page design for Ecommerce brands
– Big plus if you have previous experience with Klaviyo.
– Big plus if you have experience with a project management tool like Clickup, Asana, Trello or Monday.
