Final Cut Pro X video Editor

We are looking for remote video editors to work for our YouTube channel.

My name is Trent Kamerman, and I am the Executive Producer of The Ninja Kidz family of Youtube Channels. We have 5 Channels and put out over 20 posts a month. That is why we need your help.

We are a super fun and youthful company looking for a detail-oriented and deadline-driven Video Editor to join our team!

Here are the details of the position.

[MUST HAVES – Non Negotiables]

– Sense of responsibility/accountability/ownership
– MUST be ORGANIZED in handling files/assets within FINAL CUT X, processes/Final Cut X sequences, exports, etc.
– MUST be EFFECTIVE in collaborating with a team, handing off organized projects, and/or receiving projects worked on by multiple editors
– KEEN to delivering BEFORE deadlines. Outstanding time management skills
– Effective communication skills (MAKES SURE TO ASK when in doubt, to be sure directions are understood clearly)
– Able to umderstand and follow TECHNICAL direction
– KEEN to the smallest of details.
– Experience working remotely.
– At least 2 years of proven experience in video editing using specified tool/s below:

**You will be given a test task to see if your skills are at par with what we’re looking for.

– Experience and skill working in FINAL CUT X: Editing, Syncing Audio/Video, Color Correction
– Experience and skill working in After Effects: Anamation Skills, AE Template Implementation, Working with Linked Comps Across Final Cut X

[TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS]
– Need access to a FAST internet connection
– Laptop/PC specs must be able to HANDLE editing process SMOOTHLY
– Need to be able to acess Zoom calls, Google Hangouts, etc

[TIME]
– Flexible but prefer to work partially during PST so that we can collaborate and discuss creatives
