Location: Remote, work ET time zone

Responsibilities

Organize & Record day-to-day financial transactions

Reconcile data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements (such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Budget Vs. Actuals, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Summary)

Extract from ongoing reports team hours broken down per client per project and categorize accordingly in P&L Report

Update and fact-check Financial Dashboard (cash flow report)

Update Email Revenue log, organizing per offer per email list

Update Accounts Receivable with data from Email Revenue, follow up with all aged accounts, and zero out

Integrate QuickBooks into other tracking software, ensure ongoing connection and software properly exchanging data

Review sales tax software and prepare filing for approval

Assisting in financial activities such as twice-monthly payroll, collection, and organization of all financial documentation and statements.

General administrative tasks, including varying levels of business correspondence (internal and external), general calendar management, supportive data entry for other departments, and performing online research.

Requirements and Skills

Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally in an online marketplace environment
Unrelenting integrity and preserver of confidentiality
Proficiency in Quickbooks and ability to navigate other financial software
Proactive in seeking solutions and upgrades; speaks up, and is open to collaboration
Proven ability to calculate, record, and manage complex and simple numbers
Data entry and quality control skills
High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
Exceptional time management
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing spreadsheets
Preferably experienced working with multiple separate entities under the same ownership
