RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Collaborate with VP and Manager of FP&A to develop annual expense budgets and recurring forecasts.
– Provide timely and insightful financial reporting and metrics to department leads, analyzing operating expense drivers for actionable insights.
– Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, investigating variances and identifying trends and opportunities.
– Create and analyze KPIs related to business growth and profitability.
– Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and ensure cost control measures are in place.
– Constantly improve data visualization and company-wide and function-specific reporting to drive performance and build accountability.
– Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making and improve FP&A processes and reporting.
– Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

NON-NEGOTIABLE:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Business or a related field.
– 3+ years of progressive background in financial analysis preferably in an FP&A role with a knowledge of GAAP accounting principles; investment banking experience a plus!
– An Excel whiz with highly proficient financial modeling and scenario planning skills.
– Working knowledge of business analytical tools (e.g. Tableau) and experience with databases (e.g. Snowflake) a plus.
– Excellent communication skills, able to interpret and present data effectively to finance and non-finance audiences.
– Experience with a cloud-based accounting system and/or financial planning system (e.g. Adaptive Insights, Oracle ERP, Netsuite).
– Self-starter and able to work independently

Availability: 40 hours per week (PST: Business Hours)
