TenBay Consulting is a small CFO services firm. This position would support the owner directly, assisting in a variety of different types of projects. The position would be primarily financial modeling, but Controller-level accounting experience is a must.
We are seeking a talented Accounting and Finance Analyst to join our small consulting team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decision-making processes and analyze financial data, trends, and performance, providing insights for strategic planning.
– Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization and present findings and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
– Bookkeeping: Oversee day-to-day financial transactions and records, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
– Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders, including the CFO and upper-level management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial reports.
– Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
– Microsoft Office Proficiency: Display advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting purposes. Utilize other Microsoft Office applications as needed for effective communication and collaboration.
What We Expect From You:
– Language Proficiency: Exceptional command of the English language, both spoken and written, is essential.
– Accounting experience
– Work Hours: Availability to work from 9 am to 5 pm CST, Monday through Friday.
– Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial in providing data to management for decision making purposes.
