Finance Assistant

Typical Tasks & Responsibilities:
– Posting and allocating invoices (AP) to Xero
– Fiat bank reconciliations (across various different bank accounts and currencies)
– Crypto transaction reconciliation – mainly BTC and USDT across different wallets and entities
– Running and completing monthly PAYE payroll and NEST pension returns and reporting
– Accounts receivable (Debtor) book reconciliation and assist with chasing up of overdue accounts
– Accounts payable (trade creditor) reconciliations
– Raising and posting sales invoices
– Retrieving and posting supplier and contractor invoices (including Upwork contractors)
– Balance sheet reconcilers (monthly) – submit to reviewers
– Assistance with VAT numbers and returns (Quarterly)
– Cost breakdown analysis and reports (P&L CoS and expenses)

Requirements:
– Up to 10 years experience (min 3 years)
– PQ or technician qualified level
– Proficient English language skills
– Limited experience of working for a UK and/or EU based company acceptable
– Basic level of understanding of UK VAT system is desirable – otherwise overall tax knowledge is not essential
– Outsource team member to (ideally) work local (Philippines) hours 10am – 6.00pm (1 hr lunch)
(UK time 2am – 11am)
There must be at least a ‘2hr’ overlap between UK Team Leader (normally 9am – 11am UK time)
Some flexibility in working times can be accommodated and exercised
