The Finance Manager will primarily be responsible for the financial well-being of Tender Home Health. The manager will achieve this by creating monthly financial statements, analyzing the documenting and implementing financial best practices to ensure the financial health of Tender.

Qualifications

Required:
• Financial reporting experience – experience in creating key financial reports including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
• Financial analysis – experience in analyzing financial reports, key financial ratios and auditing
• Financial systems – knowledgeable in working with financial systems such as Quickbooks
• Accounts receivable – ability to drive down accounts receivable pay cycles through aggressive collections and analysis
• Management – experience with managing a team to complete bookkeeping, oversee medical billing and auditing, and other financial tasks
• Payroll management – experience with managing payroll process
• Forecasting – knowledgeable in creating forecasts to project financials
• Must work US Pacific business hours (9:00 am – 6:00 pm)
• Must have reliable power and internet (with multiple backups)
• Demonstrates a “growth mindset,” with a proactive attitude towards learning and improving skills, coupled with a strong sense of personal responsibility and initiative in achieving goals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Close out financial bookkeeping monthly to prepare for financial reports (both cash basis and accrual basis)
• Create monthly financial reports using financials systems (Quickbooks)
o Income Statement
o Balance Sheet
o Cash Flow
• Execute accounts payable (including payroll) and accounts receivable process
• Drive down accounts receivable process by leading collections team
• Create quarterly forecasts to budget financials
• Lead team to complete bookkeeping responsibilities
• Prepare tax forms and payments for each reporting cycling including year-end taxes
