What are we looking for:
Multiplymii is in search of a Finance Manager for our client, a product management consultancy company, whose mission is to empower product professionals with the knowledge and tools to deliver products that matter.
You will work closely with the VP of Operations and Accounting to drive accounting principles for the Company. In this role, you will become a primary contributor to the company’s accounting team and can assist with day-to-day order management and the monthly revenue close. You will also have the opportunity to scale and integrate various processes and systems, including improving billing operations and assisting with the development of an automated revenue recognition engine.
The right candidate will take ownership of Accounts Receivable and Revenue activities. The successful candidate will combine excellent analytical skills with knowledge of billings and collections.
You’ll be a critical member of the Operations/Finance team and have the ability to make an impact on improving processes and automating systems to keep pace with the growth of the company.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English language communication skills in both written and verbal.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role, you will:
Own the collections processes, working closely with the Billing and Collections accountant to resolve customer payment issues
Assist in revenue operations
Review POs/revenue contracts to help escalate issues
Coordinate with Human Resources on the accuracy and timeliness of commission calculations and reporting
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other key teams to ensure that contracts and renewals are compliant with accounting guidelines
Document processes and implement internal controls
Assist with external auditors on revenue-related requests and documentation
Month end close
Forecasting on revenue and cash projections
Conduct client outreach for collections, manage point of sale (POS) invoicing, and facilitate the onboarding process
About You:
Core qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience
Must be a graduate of BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
Experience with Salesforce, Avalara, QBO, and other financial systems
Excellent MS Excel skills
Experience with sales tax, VAT, and GST is a plus
Ability to review and interpret contracts
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proactive attitude
Ability to work across various cross-functional teams
Able to operate independently and as part of a larger functional team
Ability to identify and propose strategic and tactical solutions
Shift and Schedule: 9am to 5pm EST
