Finance Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a Finance Manager, who will also help with some inventory management, to join our team. This role will require a meticulous, efficient individual with a comprehensive understanding of both financial analysis and inventory management principles. You will work collaboratively with various business operations teams to drive financial performance and optimize inventory processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

Analyze financial data, generate insights, and construct financial models for decision support.
Review current and previous financial data to identify trends and assess financial status.
Develop financial forecasts and build models to aid in planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
Perform cost analyses, identify trends, and suggest improvements.

2. Profit, Loss, and Cash Flow Management:

Oversee the company’s profit and loss statements, identify trends, and make recommendations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow statements.
Analyze cash flow data and share findings with management.
Assist in the preparation and control of budgets.

3. Inventory Management:

Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure smooth business operations.
Conduct regular inventory audits to spot and rectify discrepancies.
Develop, implement, and monitor inventory control procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification would be advantageous.
Proven experience in a role encompassing financial management and inventory control.
Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, diagnosis, corporate finance, and data analysis.
Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
Working Conditions:

The role typically demands a 40-hour work week, but this could vary and may require additional hours depending on the company’s needs. The work environment is completely online, as we are an Australian-based company.
