Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and oversee the financial operations of our organization. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities to ensure the financial health and stability of the company. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to support business forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Analyze financial performance against key metrics and provide insights to senior management. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern, and propose actions to improve financial outcomes.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets. Monitor budget performance throughout the year, identify variances, and work with teams to address discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Present financial results to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and growth initiatives. Implement effective cash flow forecasting and optimize working capital management.
Risk Management: Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team’s productivity and professional development.
Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy, aligning with overall business goals. Provide recommendations on investment opportunities, capital allocation, and financial decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a finance management role, demonstrating a track record of successful financial management and leadership.
In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting software, and financial reporting tools.
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and financial software (e.g., Excel, Quickbooks systems).
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
