Job Description

As a Finance Specialist, you will be responsible in recording and managing the end to end daily activities of the company. You will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, Chief of Staff, CEO, and individuals in different departments.

Requirements

Accounting Degree or background, with minimum 3-year experience preferred.
Proven experience as a Finance Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
Excellent knowledge of financial software, especially Xero.
Strong MS Office skills: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with management and staff and customer relations highly preferred.
Exposure in international accounting standard preferred.

Responsibilities

Daily functions for AR, AP and Treasury
Generate A/R invoices ensuring contractual compliance.
Manage and accept all incoming payments from customers.
Receive and verify incoming bills, log into accounting system ensuring proper job costing accounting, and ensure timely payment.
Manage employee reimbursements, review, verify, document.
Manage credit card entries, reconciliations, and proper job costing.
Ensure all supporting documents are valid and verified.
Assist Senior Finance Manager with Budgeting and Forecasting.
Assist in month-end closing, audit and annual closing.
Finance’s focal person for internal and external stakeholders.
Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Results

Achieve minimal to zero errors in preparing invoices by reviewing thoroughly
Month-end closing 5 to 7 business days by ensuring that all transactions are accounted for
Timely payout resulting to 100% vendor satisfaction
100% completion of Finance tickets
90% to 100?hievement on KPI assigned by the Senior Finance Manager

Self motivated and self-directed.
