* Supervise, check, and provide support to data entry team members by addressing any questions or concerns related to Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
* Evaluate the financial health of potential investment targets and oversee the tracking and management of investment portfolios
* Implement and maintain control systems for company funds and transactions
* Effectively oversee financial obligation deadlines, manage insurance-related tasks, and maintain adherence to financial regulations and reporting obligations for the company
* Demonstrate proficiency in all facets of QuickBooks Enterprise functionality, serving as the go-to expert
* Generate Profit and Loss (PNL) statements and financial reports, while also overseeing remote access to a range of company accounts in QuickBooks, facilitating data review, report extraction, and the creation of comprehensive financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide valuable insights to the management team
* Systematically compile and meticulously analyze account information, culminating in the preparation of comprehensive and accurate accounting records
* Collaborate closely with the company’s Excel wizard, using QuickBooks to create and dissect spreadsheets for production jobs and detailed deal analysis
* Offer support in interpreting financial data, furnishing essential insights to guide informed decision-making processes
* Oversee the accounting team’s day-to-day operations, guaranteeing precise data entry and unwavering compliance with established accounting standards
* Regularly conduct comprehensive reviews of financial records and transactions to verify their precision and adherence to regulatory compliance
* Generate and promptly disseminate necessary financial reports, employing QuickBooks and other pertinent tools to furnish the management team with timely, pertinent insights
* Efficiently address and resolve any QuickBooks-related issues or discrepancies that arise, ensuring swift and effective resolution
* Diligently prepare essential financial documentation and reports within QuickBooks, facilitating the smooth progression of external audits as required
* Utilize industry-specific terminology and jargon from real estate investment, construction, and property development to comprehend chart of accounts and metrics for deal analysis
???? QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of 4 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a preference for candidates holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
* Familiarity with the real estate investment, construction, and property development industry and its specific accounting and reporting requirements
* Mastery in QuickBooks software, particularly QuickBooks Enterprise, coupled with a deep understanding of its features and functionality
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Proven experience in AR and AP, fund management, comptrollership, financial analysis, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations
* Proficiency in US tax laws and compliance and regulations
* Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Exhibits exceptional communication skills, embraces collaboration, and proactively tackles challenges
* Demonstrates self-motivation, displaying the capacity to work autonomously while consistently meeting deadlines
* Meticulously detail-oriented, committed to accuracy and compliance, and adept at efficiently managing multiple tasks concurrently
