Duties & Responsibilities:
– Review financials and overall business and prepare a report providing analysis and suggestions.
– Create cash flow models
– Prepare pricing models using industry-specific data
– Prepare and update the company budget
– Create company forecasts and projections
– Research best KPIs and create KPI dashboards
– Research and establish standard operating procedures
– Create, regularly update, and analyze financial reporting package
– Assist in month-end close process ( journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations)
– Review account coding done by bookkeepers
– Review and record journal entries
– Do account reconciliations
– Take notes on Client calls and provide “to-do” lists
– Maintain all client documents and hold confidential
– Assist in merger and acquisition due diligence, as needed
– Record time by client
– Create invoices, record deposits
– Enter, code, and file backup for new expenses
– Attend weekly team meetings
– Other duties, as assigned
Job Requirements
– A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
– At least 2 years of relevant work experience with US-based clients
– Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, perform complex calculations, and make data-driven decisions.
– In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling techniques.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
– Strong attention to detail is crucial when working with financial data and preparing reports.
– Technical knowledge of the following applications: Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access/VBA, Quickbooks, Xero, Fathom HQ, Notion, Loom, CRM/practice management software
