We are a private equity company that is focused on acquiring existing companies to add to our portfolio. We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team and help our clients make informed business decisions.

Job Description:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our financial planning and decision-making processes. Your primary focus will be on preparing pro formas, conducting comprehensive company valuations, and providing accurate financial analyses.
You will be tasked with taking basic financial statements like P&L’s, Balance sheets, and cash flow statements and creating a comprehensive valuation for the companies we are looking at and helping in the decision making process. Your analyses will be instrumental in strategic planning, investment decisions, and forecasting, thus directly impacting the financial health and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Prepare pro forma financial statements to assist in decision making and business planning.
Conduct comprehensive company valuations utilizing various methodologies, such as DCF, Comparable Company, and Precedent Transaction analysis for public companies. For private companies, DCF, SDE/EBITDA, Asset based valuation, multiple of revenue, and enterprise/forcasted value.

Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make projections on future revenue growth.
Prepare reports and projections based on this analysis.
Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation.
Explore investment opportunities.
Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
Provide financial models and forecasting.
Present financial reports to team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA certification is a plus.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or a related field.
Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
Well informed about current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
Working conditions:

This is a remote position. Standard working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm MDT. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required. It is part time to begin, and full-time once the candidate passes certain metrics.
