Company Overview:
We are a USA-based 15-year old luxury and nationwide retail company (brick and mortar and e-commerce) that is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. With a focus on strategic financial planning and analysis, we are eager to integrate an individual who is adept at utilizing Excel for financial modeling, and skilled in creating and executing macros, pivot tables, and other advanced functions. Your analytical mind and expertise will be pivotal in guiding our operations department toward enhanced profitability through in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations.
Compensation: $1000+ per month (benefits include health insurance reimbursement, annual bonus, and paid time off)
Key Responsibilities:
– Consolidate and meticulously analyze financial data, considering the company’s goals and financial standing.
– Employ high-level Excel functionalities to develop robust financial models and construct sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
– Engage in comparative business studies to assess past, future, and parallel performance.
– Articulate creative alternatives and recommendations to diminish costs and elevate financial performance.
– Conduct process analysis and benchmarking.
– Forge financial forecast models and conduct variances analyses.
– Identify trends, furnish sound analysis and strategic recommendations to both the company and a senior financial analyst.
– Ensure data accuracy through transaction reconciliation and data verification.
– Engage and consult with management, steering long-term and strategic decision-making.
– Spearhead process improvement and policy development initiatives that influence the financial function.
– Develop, read, and analyze profit and loss statements and devise comparative statements for similar businesses.
– Make well-informed recommendations to improve profitability through operational changes.
Qualifications:
– Strong written and verbal English skills
– Proven experience as a Financial Analyst.
– Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
– Expertise in Excel, including building and utilizing macros, pivot tables, and other high-level functionalities.
– Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
– Remarkable presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
– Established knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
– BS degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
– Experience with QuickBooks Online, preferred
– The capacity to work full-time hours, with flexibility regarding when those hours are worked.
– Exclusive commitment to our company without parallel job commitments.
– Work hours could be either daytime USA or Philippines, but it would be helpful to work some USA daytime hours early on in order to establish relationship
