Financial Analyst

Financial Analysis and Underwriting: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including but not limited to, examining historical and projected financial statements, analyzing industry trends, and evaluating financial performance metrics to assess the viability of potential acquisition targets.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential transactions, including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, and accretion/dilution models.

Deal Evaluation: Assist in the valuation of potential acquisition targets, considering market dynamics, strategic fit, and potential synergies.

Due Diligence: Participate in due diligence processes, ensuring the accuracy of data and information, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing appropriate recommendations.

Deal Execution: Support deal execution, including preparation of investment memos, deal structuring, and assisting in negotiation and documentation processes.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on deal progress, investment returns, and post-acquisition performance. Document the due diligence process and findings for compliance and record-keeping purposes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within a corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or M&A context.

Strong knowledge of financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and valuation methodologies.

Solid understanding of M&A deal structuring and due diligence processes.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with financial analysis software and databases is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
