JOB DESCRIPTION
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for gathering and organizing financial data, producing visually appealing and accurate reports, and ensuring real-time data availability. They will manage the budget in collaboration with the CFO, assess and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), and interpret complex data into actionable insights. The role involves giving presentations on financial streamlining, collaborating with various departments, and being highly responsive to C-level executive requests.
Responsibilities:
– Gather and organize financial data for weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis.
– Produce charts, graphs, and reports with an eye on visual appeal and accuracy.
– Tie analysis into data sets so that information is available real time.
– Own budget and work with CFO to stay abreast of accuracy and revisions.
– Assess current key performance indicators (KPIs) and seek out areas for improvement.
– Interpret complex data sets into easily understood action points to solve pain points.
– Give presentations to other employees on how to streamline finances.
– Work with other departments to provide needed data and analysis for departmental optimization.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or other related areas.
– 1-2 years’ experience in financial planning and analytics.
– Proficiency with QBO, Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
– Working experience with vast/complex data sets.
– Detail-oriented with a strong ability to catch and fix small errors.
– Outstanding communication skills at multiple levels.
– Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of statistical analysis.
– Compassionate and helpful attitude.
– Personal standard to be highly responsive – drop-what-I’m doing (during work hours) when a C-level has an “ask”.

Salary:
Up to $2,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
