Job Description
Our client is a growing Fintech lender in Australia that utilizes leading-edge technology that allows them to lend money faster to people in time of need. They have an expanding PH-based workforce that supports their business operations in Customer Acquisition, Services, Collections, Financial & Administrative core teams with great support from AU Senior Management.
With their growth, they are looking to hire more talents from Cebu with below qualifications:
FINANCIAL & DATA ANALYST
Duties and Responsibilities
Help prepare monthly financial reporting, leveraging Xero based software, interaction with bank accounts
Prepare regular expense and vendor analysis to help understand and contain our expenses.
Prepare monthly PPT presentations for the broader team to help track overall progress, and performance against target KPIs
Support regular invoice payables and payroll activities
Support investor monthly reporting obligations, such as loan book portfolio analysis is a prescribed format
Work closely with our Bookkeeping partner Aretex to learn their processes and be supportive, by being the primary link between their financial reporting and the business
Learn and help prepare various data analytics (Form opinions and recommendations based on this data)
Work with new Skilled Migrant Workers to help them prepare standard personal budgeting and tax returns (This is a new function, and you will help forge new processes to help scale this process in time.)
Assist Skilled Migrant Workers set up their new Australian Bank Account, Tax File number and Overseas Health Care cover.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business-related field.
At least 3 years experience working as a Finance and Data Analyst or similar role.
Ideally have strong experience in a combination of financial reporting, financial management, and data analysis and presentation
Excellent collaboration and English communication skills (ideally Australian Based Company)
Should be comfortable working with accounting software such as Xero, Excel, and PPT presentations.
Willing to present data and insights to senior management as well as the broader employee teams.
Have an outcomes-based mindset, and appetite to share financial and business wide standards and KPIs with the broader team to help us achieve our financial and growth objectives.
Must have quiet working space at home, with reliable Internet speed. Ideally with computer with dual screens.
Experience and interest in working remotely and improving systems and reporting to help the company become stronger and support senior management decision making.
Exceptional attention to detail
Great analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Superb organizational and time-management skills
Can work under pressure and multi-task.
