Compensation: Base salary of $7.25 per hour.

Employment Type: Part Time (20 hours / week)

Location: Remote / Virtual: We are a remote/cloud-based firm. Our main office is located in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. We work with many people from the Philippines.

To be a good fit, you must:
-Have an in-depth knowledge of and experience with quickbooks online;
-Dedicate a consistent, scheduled 20 hours per week (4 hours per day) to this job, without multitasking other jobs or work, with at least some overlap to US Eastern time zone (evening/night or early morning shift your time);
-Have experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, and/or controller in a for-profit company, with references;
-Be Eager and willing to adopt and follow systems precisely, while being mentally flexible and open to changes in those systems as we improve as an organization;
-Be open to receiving consistent, regular feedback and taking self-improvement opportunities;
-Have a growth-oriented mindset, taking personal and professional development seriously;
-Be open to trying to solve problems, not just report them, even if that means taking risks and being incorrect at times; and
-Be computer literate, and willing to learn and experiment with new software–everything we do is paperless, cloud-based, digital, etc.

As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for various financial tasks, including but not limited to:
-Expense Categorization: Categorize all expenses according to their respective categories in financial records.
-QuickBooks Management: Work extensively with QuickBooks for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis.
-Financial Documentation: Save and file financial documents digitally according to specific folder structures and naming conventions.
-Financial Task Management: Manage financial tasks, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
-Financial Reporting: Generate and review financial reports as needed, providing insights and analysis.
-Communication: Collaborate with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders for financial inquiries and coordination.

The scope of your responsibilities may expand to meet the evolving needs of our financial operations.

Experience: Prior experience in finance is highly desirable, and preference will be given to candidates with a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification. We value individuals with a strong financial background who can contribute their expertise to our team. While specific experience in a law firm setting is not mandatory, a demonstrated track record of success in finance-related roles will be advantageous.
