Starting salary: £600-£800
Working hours: From 3pm PH time to 12am PH time
Expected working hours: 8 hours a day.
To set proper expectations with the Head of Finance, we are a relatively small company right now but are growing too fast. The Finance head would need to help us build and develop the finance function.
We need someone to act as the Head of Finance For our company with the following tasks:
Tax planning – work with our UK tax advisor to assist our CEO with the strategic tax planning of the company
Prepare a monthly Management Information Pack to help our CEO check all the overall financial activity of the company and alert her to risks and issues
Risk Management: Able to scan any risk and come up with solutions to discuss with our CEO.
Budgeting and cost control
Develop and implement cost approval/control process
Monitor and approve project spending
Oversee the work of our in-house bookkeeper
Act as a strategic owner and problem solver of the business. Balance both long-term and short-term needs.
Supports the CEO in the performance of her duties
The statutory accounts will be prepared by the client’s UK Chartered Accountant, but the candidate is expected to work with our UK Chartered Accountant to facilitate this process
Monitor and ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines and submission of returns for clients by the deadline
Able to competently prepare fully reconciled books with the assistance of the bookkeeper
Promptly informs the client of any issues with accounts
Maintains and builds a supportive and effective team culture
Upholds and promotes the firm’s values
Maintains the highest ethical and professional standards.
Assist with processing payments in a timely manner (local and international).
Attend zoom/Gmeet company and director’s meetings, and this person needs to be active in meetings and can openly discuss any updates and opportunities on the finance side.
Willing to do all other admin tasks related to finance.
Job Skills and Qualifications The role’s minimum skills include the following:
At least 5 + years experience in Financial and Management Accounting;
3 + years experience in UK Tax, which is not a must but highly desirable
Would prefer the candidate to have some experience in a property development company, which is not a must but highly desirable
Proficient with Xero
Proficient with G Suite
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Able to work virtually in the past
