Job Description:
ADU Geeks is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations. As the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the company’s financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Manage the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial laws and regulations.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance assessments to provide insights into the company’s financial health.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and develop strategies to manage liquidity effectively.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities.
Audit Preparation: Coordinate and manage financial audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure the timely completion of audit requirements.
Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Team Leadership: Manage the finance and accounting team, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and efficiency.
Oversee Finances
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification preferred).
Proven experience in financial management and control, preferably in the construction or architectural industry (7-10 years)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with construction accounting and project-based accounting is a plus.

Compensation:
$100,000 – $150,000 / year
