About the Position
The Financial Controller will be responsible for all funds (cryptocurrency and fiat) entering and leaving the business. You will be able to account for and track every dollar, euro, bitcoin and tether. It is a varied and complex role with a mixture of live operational tasks and back-office reporting. You will have all the support you need from a team who is experienced in managing remote staff.

Hours and Location
– Location: This is a remote based role. You will be required to work from home.
– Equipment & Technology: We can provide you with the required technology.
– Hours: Our primary working hours are 9am – 6pm London (4pm – 12am Manilla).

The role will include:
– Live auditing of trades, processes and end-to-end flow of funds;
– Daily reconciliation of accounts with a large number of banks and financial institutions;
– Treasury management and flow of funds across multiple bank accounts and currencies;
– Daily, weekly and monthly reports to both internal and external stakeholders;
– Management of our varied corporate structures (globally) and ensuring we comply with reporting and submission requirements;
– Internal accounting and liaising with various third parties including KPMG;
– Creation, updating and maintenance of internal procedure manuals;
– Monitoring of communication channels; and
– Assisting the Operations Manager and Managing Director as required.

The Ideal Candidate
– Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting;
– Very high level of both aural and written English (C2 / Native);
– Very high level of practical mathematics and the ability to perform fast and accurate mental calculations;
– High level experience with MS Office and experience with Google Workspace;
– Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a fast paced role;
– Have a practical understanding of business and finance and be able to manage all inbound and outbound flows single-handedly;
– Willing to roll up their sleeves and help other team members get the job done – no task is too big or too small attitude;
– Sound knowledge of financial markets and foreign exchange (cryptocurrency experience is not required but knowledge would be a bonus); and
– Experience in a highly secure or regulated environment where confidentiality is paramount.
