Financial Data Analyst

Role Overview: As a Financial Data Analyst at Zoyava, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our fast-growing e-commerce brand. You will analyze financial and marketing data, extract insights, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance across our various sales channels and product lines. You will be working directly with the Chief Financial Officer of the company and have an opportunity to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data from multiple channels and product lines to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models, forecasts, and projections to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, margins, inventory, and marketing spend, providing actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Efficiently aggregate data from all sales channels, marketing channels and inventory management systems using APIs and/or Data Scrapers
• Accurate data entry into excel or other spreadsheet tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing strategies, inventory management, and sales forecasting.
• Assist in budgeting, planning, and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support specific initiatives or projects aimed at driving growth and profitability.
• Produce an accurate and timely full financial package every month to be presented to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. (Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.)
• 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the ecommerce or consumer goods industry.
• Experience with ecommerce APIs
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and utilizing tools/software relevant to ecommerce analytics.
• Knowledge of ecommerce metrics, including customer lifetime value (CLV), conversion rates, and acquisition costs.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, supply chain dynamics, and pricing strategies in an ecommerce setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
