A growing technology business based in Perth Western Australia

Reports to:
Chief Financial Officer

Job Purpose:
To provide day-to-day support to the CFO to assist in managing the financial operations of the company.

Initial Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee accounts receivable bookkeeping using Xero, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial accounts receivable reporting.
– Reaching out to accounts receivable debtors to ensure prompt and timely payment, so as to ensure healthy cash flow within the business.
– Assist with ensuring that Cashflow reporting software is kept accurate with current data such as sales and project targets.

Long Term Responsibilities
– Oversee and ensure the accuracy of invoicing of project & ad hoc work.
– Oversee timesheets and report on the efficiency of staff billable time.

Requirements:
– A strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and tax laws.
– Strong Knowledge of Xero bookkeeping software
– Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
– Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Ability to effectively manage time to ensure that responsibilities are carried out consistently and reliably.
– High attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards.
