OVERVIEW
Join our dynamic team as a Financial Operations Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in tracking key performance indicators and enhancing the profitability of our luxury short-term rental business. This remote position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and contribute directly to the financial health and growth of our portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and analyze nightly rates, daily portfolio occupancy, and regular occupancy metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
Produce accurate and timely financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual profit and loss statements for each property and the overall portfolio.
Work collaboratively with the lead assistant and a third-party bookkeeper to ensure seamless financial operations.
Utilize Excel and Xero to manage bookkeeping tasks and maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions.
Implement revenue management strategies to optimize profitability, operating within given autonomy limits.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Xero.
Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with a remote team.
Experience in revenue management is advantageous but not essential.
Success Metrics:
Demonstrable increase in property profitability.
Consistent on-time delivery of accurate financial reports.
Reporting Structure:
Daily reporting to the Lead Virtual Assistant.
Weekly reporting to the CEO.
PAY
Starting Rate $4/hr (Relevant experience will be considered)
This role will initially be part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to become full-time based on your performance and our company’s evolving needs. Exceptional candidates will have the opportunity for advancement and bonuses.
