Financial Wizard needed

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial management of our company. The Financial Controller will be responsible for all financial aspects of the organization including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial reporting, and management of financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing finances in a fast-paced environment, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Analyze financial data and prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
Monitor and manage the organization’s cash flow, including the development of cash flow projections.
Prepare and review financial reports and statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP.
Provide financial advice and guidance to management, including identifying trends and analyzing the organization’s financial performance.
Manage the accounting and financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, including tax and accounting regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and other advisors to ensure that financial statements are accurate and comply with regulatory requirements.
Manage and develop a team of financial professionals, including training and mentoring staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a team of financial professionals.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
