Find Food and Beverage Deals on Dubai Restaurant Websites and Social Media Pages and Record Data

?What we need:

?We are looking for someone to search the internet for the latest offers and promotions running at restaurants and bars in Dubai which we will publish on our website and social media. You will be our “Deal Hunter”.

?You will need to browse websites, Instagram profiles and Facebook pages of a defined list of restaurants to locate and extract the required information including venue name, title of the offer, description, day, start time, end time, duration and price and record the data in Google Sheets.

?As well as finding new deals and promotions you will need to verify the accuracy of existing deals in our database, recognise and adjust any changes in the data and determine if the deal is still running or expired, all while managing and maintaining a large and complex Google Sheets database.

What you need:

?- A deep understanding of Dubai
?We need someone who knows Dubai very well, this means someone who has lived in Dubai previously for a significant amount of time.
?- Google Sheets Skills
?You will be responsible for maintaining a large and complex spreadsheet. You must be comfortable and familiar with Google Sheets filters, formulas, formatting etc.
?- Social Media Skills
?You need to understand Facebook and Instagram and this means being an active user. To find and extract data on these platforms efficiently and effectively you need to understand how they work.
?- Enjoy Going Out
?Our website exclusively lists licensed restaurants and bars in Dubai and their promotions such as Ladies Nights, Brunches, Happy Hours, Pool Days, Dining Deals, Ladies Days etc. We need someone who understands these promotions, someone who has experienced them, enjoys attending them and is passionate about them. Someone who enjoys a drink and likes to go out.
?- Attention to detail
?You will need to meticulously read and analyse information in various formats such as social media posts, images and videos, website pages and articles, business listings etc and compare them to determine which is the most reliable data and be able to recognise small changes in the details, a change to the start time, a price change or a new description. Accuracy is hugely important.
?- English Language
?It is essential that your English language reading, writing and speaking skills are excellent. Our website is in English and all your work will be carried out in English. It is important that we are able to communicate effectively in English.
-Commitment
?This job is a long term contract and could lead to a permanent full time position. We need someone who is available to work with us for the foreseeable future. We will invest our time in training you in this role and it could lead to progression to other roles in the business such as social media, sales and marketing.
