**Job Title: Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – part time position remote**
**Company Description:**
We are a rapidly growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organization focused on providing services to optometrists and ophthalmologists. With a current team size of 28, we plan to expand to over 150 in the coming years. We’re looking for a dynamic CFO to join our team and play a pivotal role in our growth story.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Financial Strategy Development and Implementation**: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with our business goals. Continually adapt the strategy in response to organizational needs and market changes.
2. **Budgeting and Financial Planning**: Create, manage, and adjust budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Implement a robust financial planning process to support our growth trajectory.
3. **Risk Management and Compliance**: Identify and manage financial risks. Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and standards. Develop effective risk management strategies to safeguard the organization’s assets.
4. **Financial Reporting and Analysis**: Prepare comprehensive and accurate financial reports. Conduct thorough financial analysis to inform significant business decisions. Tailor financial reports for various stakeholders.
5. **Growth Financing and Capital Raising**: Identify and evaluate potential sources of funding. Raise capital for business growth while ensuring an optimal balance of debt and equity in our capital structure. Successfully negotiate deals with investors or lenders.
6. **Bookkeeping**: Oversee all bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Implement effective systems and processes for financial transactions and records.
7. **Team Management**: Lead and manage the finance team. Foster a positive work environment and promote professional development among team members.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CPA, CFA, or CA) is preferred.
2. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or BPO setting.
3. Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy development, budgeting, risk management, financial reporting, and capital raising.
4. Experience with bookkeeping and team management.
5. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
