Project Overview:

We are seeking a talented Freelance Accountant/Financial Consultant to help us build a robust and intuitive financial dashboard. This project involves creating a comprehensive system for tracking and analyzing both personal and business finances, identifying financial issues, and providing clear, actionable insights. The dashboard should be developed using QuickBooks or Google Sheets and be designed for ease of use and future extensibility.

Project Scope:

– Financial Tracking and Management:
— Develop a system to manage and track personal and business finances, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Implement solutions to monitor spending and identify financial problem areas.
— Set up accounting for expenses from various properties versus overall cash flow.

– Dashboard and Reporting Development:
— Create a comprehensive, user-friendly dashboard that provides an overview of income, expenses, net worth, and other key financial metrics.
— Design reports that automatically pull and categorize income and expenses by business/entity and property.
— Ensure the system is automated to minimize manual data entry and reporting processes.

– Property and Net Worth Analysis:
— Implement tracking for property values versus outstanding debts to understand equity and net worth.
— Develop reports that illustrate the financial performance and net worth implications of each property.
— Provide insights into how property values and debts factor into overall financial health.

– Documentation and Training:
— Provide detailed documentation on how the dashboard and reporting system works.
— Offer instructions on how to maintain and extend the system for future needs.
— Conduct a training session to ensure the end-users can effectively use and update the system.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as an accountant or financial consultant with a focus on dashboard and reporting development.
– Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Sheets.
– Strong understanding of financial principles, property accounting, and net worth analysis.
– Ability to create automated, user-friendly dashboards and reports.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills for effective documentation and training.

Preferred Skills:

– Experience with financial software integration and automation.
– Familiarity with real estate accounting and financial reporting.
– Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including scripting and macros.
