TYPE OF WORK:

For now, this position is a freelance role that will be paid a standard amount for each episode that is converted into other marketing materials. If we have steady demand from clients, we’re open to converting this to a monthly retainer.

COMPENSATION:

We would expect to pay PHP 28 – PHP 56 per minute of edited audio, or about PHP 1,700 – PHP 3,300 for editing a 60-minute episode. This typically includes technical edits like audio leveling, noise reduction, etc. as well as content edits like removing umms/uhhs or sidebar conversations.

You will be able to tell us your preferred rate during the application process, so we can make sure that you are getting paid fairly for your work.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

– Significant Skills/Experience With Audio Engineering
– A Good Ear For Making Content Edits (Ex: Removing sidebar conversations)
– Interest In Content Related To Business, Health, Fitness, and Professional Development
– A Fast, Reliable Internet Connection
– Ability To Communicate Using Slack & Email
– Native or C2 English Proficiency

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:

We’re a small team of creative people who love podcasts, especially those that are focused on health, finance, business, or personal development. We have a group of 5-8 team members at any time, which consists of writers, graphic designers, audio engineers, and project managers.

We’re mostly based in the U.S., but are becoming more geographically diverse as the company grows. Our main goal is to help thought leaders get their messages in front of more people, and we’re sure we’ll learn a lot about ourselves along the way.
