Freelance Content Editors at ContentWish

ContentWish is looking for freelance SEO content editors who can dedicate min. 10 hours/week to the job. Our rate is $5/hour, and we expect you to edit 2000 words/hour on average.

We’re specialized in long-form SEO content. So, you’ll edit:

• Informational articles
• Listicles and product roundups
• Product reviews.

Requirements/skills:

• Fluent/native English level;
• Proven experience in editing SEO content;
• Commitment to meeting deadlines.

Your Role:

• Validating that received content from writers is in accordance with client briefs and project specifications
• Verifying content optimization for search engines (SEO optimization)
• Checking submitted content for plagiarism
• Proofreading submitted content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, word choice, or formatting issues
• Ensuring that the content provides value to the reader and has a logical structure and flow
• Providing feedback to the writers if needed
• Delivering an enhanced version of the submitted content by our writers
• Revising content if clients request changes
• Adhering to our SOPs and templates.

Compensation:

• We’ll track your work hours using ClickUp and pay you on the 2nd day of each month.

How to apply:

• Fill in the application form. Kindly attach samples of your previous work shared with anyone with the link (this will be sent by the HR Manager to potential candidates only).
• Write in your cover letter the following:

How the selection process works:

• We’ll review your cover letter and edited samples;
• If we find that you might be a good fit, we’ll invite you to take an unpaid test;
• If you pass the assessment test, we’ll invite you to a video call with our HR Manager;
• After that, you’ll be admitted to our 30 days paid probation period.
