Freelance Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant

I am a Wedding Photographer in Canada with an editorial, luxury, modern and fine art style. I’m looking for a freelance digital marketing assistant, with an eye for design, to help me execute my online marketing strategy.

Job Tasks

– Writing and creating weekly blog post with strong SEO (training on SEO and how to post blogs will be provided)

– Create and schedule 4-5 Instagram/Facebook posts per week (content is provided, you will be required to put it together in posts/reels, write captions, schedule posts etc.)

– Prepare content for Instagram stories (strategy and topics will be provided, you will need to do research and create beautiful on-brand stories using Canva)

– Plan Instagram grid in Preview selecting appropriate content (training will be provided, but you must have an eye for photography/art/design/colours so that you can pick the right photographs to post)

– Execute Pinterest strategy, pinning daily (full course will be provided)

– Plan Monthly post calendar for all social media

– Update website with new content and for SEO

– Evaluate marketing efforts through analysis tools, staying up to date on marketing trends, etc 
Other tasks as assigned

– At a later date, I may need support with Facebook ad campaigns, setting up and execution of email marketing campaign, ordering of client gifts, etc.

Skills/Experience Required

– Eye for graphic design, colour, photography – essentially making things look professional and pretty
– Experience/expertise with social media, post creation, marketing strategy etc.
– Strong written English skills
– Attention to detail 
– Creativity
– Works quickly and efficiently
– Excellent communication skills
– Highly responsive
– Meets deadlines  
– Problem solving skills 

I will likely need about 20 hours a week, potentially more in some weeks and adding tasks over time. For the right candidate, there is a potential for full-time employment down the road.
