Freelance graphic designer $400 – $800 USD per month (Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom)

Threads Monthly (Click to view) is a website that teaches sewing skills to 200,000+ people every month. We also have 5+ million monthly views on Pinterest and 600,000+ views on Youtube. Our goal is to reach 300,000 blog visitors per month by 2024 and sell digital sewing products. We are based in London, United Kingdom. The team currently consists of Sara the editor (me!) and 3 writers. We’re looking for a freelance graphic designer to join the team. Most of your work will be creating images and graphics for blog posts and social media.

Job description:
– Create photo collages and graphics for blog posts.
– Edit photos.
– Create social media graphics for Pinterest.
– Contribute to the design evolution of the brand.

Salary:
$5 USD per hour. So if you work 20 hours per week, that’s $100 per week (about $400 per month). If you work 40 hours per week, that’s $200 per week (about $800 per month). Wages are paid monthly via Paypal or (Transfer) WISE.

Estimated workload:
20 to 40 hours per week. We have a lot of work at the moment due to a backlog of old blog posts with missing graphics.

Vacation:
You will be given 6 weeks of unpaid leave per calendar year. If you need more time off though we can be flexible.

Qualifications:
– Strong design portfolio. Please send me a link to your portfolio.
– Strong experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. This is essential because other people in the business need .psd files so we can re-edit them in the future. Canva is not acceptable.
– Strong English communication skills – both written and verbal.
– Reliable internet connection.
– Have access to Adobe Photoshop and ideally Adobe Lightroom.
