Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Freelance Integration and Web Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic marketing agency on a project-based, as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and creative thinking. This role will involve clearing site audit errors, connecting Zapier integrations to various platforms, and writing and troubleshooting code to enhance our digital marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Zapier Integration:
Design, implement, and oversee Zapier workflows to automate tasks and integrate various applications and platforms used by the agency.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing Zapier integrations to ensure seamless operations.
Open API Integrations:
Utilize open APIs to connect different systems and enhance functionality.
Develop custom API integrations tailored to specific project needs.
Web Development and Maintenance:
Write, debug, and optimize code in HTML, PHP, and JavaScript to enhance website functionality and performance.
Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve errors, ensuring optimal site health and performance.
Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement web solutions that meet project requirements and client objectives.
Hosting and FTP Tasks:
Configure and optimize server settings in hosting environments.
Handle FTP tasks, including uploading, downloading, and managing website files.
Problem-Solving and Innovation:
Approach technical challenges with creativity and innovation, developing out-of-the-box solutions to complex problems.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Zapier and creating custom integrations.
Proficiency in HTML, PHP, and JavaScript.
Experience with API integration and development.
Strong understanding of web hosting environments and FTP protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Attributes:
Previous experience working with a marketing agency or in a similar project-based role.
Familiarity with various CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
Understanding of SEO best practices and how they relate to site performance and audit corrections.
Work Arrangement:
This is a freelance, project-based position with flexible hours. The workload will vary based on project demands, and the candidate will work remotely, collaborating with the agency’s team through virtual meetings and communication tools.
