Position Overview

Join our team as a Freelance Photo Editor with a keen eye for color grading and extensive experience in photo editing. This part-time opportunity involves aligning with our unique presets to produce visually compelling stories. We’re looking for a candidate who has a comprehensive understanding of Adobe Lightroom, including tone curves, calibrations, and various coloring techniques, as well as proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, particularly with tools like Ai generative fill.

We are The Davenport Duo, Jeremy and Alyssa, a devoted husband and wife team with a passion for capturing wedding moments through photo and video. Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, we have nurtured our wedding business to go beyond mere photography and videography. Our journey has led us to create an exclusive wedding planning guide, design and market our own wedding planner, and host a podcast aimed at assisting couples in building enduring love. Our approach behind the camera emphasizes candid over posed shots, natural over artificial light, and the essence of each couple’s unique love story and personality. Our faith in Jesus, love for coffee, and enthusiasm for travel inspire our work and lives. As we look to balance our growing family needs with our business ambitions, we’re excited to offer a new role for an individual to join our team and contribute to our gallery projects. Key Responsibilities:

– Edit photos using our distinctive presets to ensure stylistic consistency across galleries.
– Master Adobe Lightroom’s advanced features, including tone curves, calibrations, and various coloring techniques.
– Utilize Adobe Photoshop effectively, focusing on Ai generative fill and other sophisticated tools.
– Ensure efficient and timely editing of each gallery without compromising quality.

Equipment Requirements:

– Ownership of a MacBook Pro (or Air) from 2018 or newer; newer models are preferred.
– M1 models or newer should have at least 8GB of RAM.
– Pre-M1 models must have at least 16GB of RAM.
– Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop is a must.
– An SSD (external or internal) with at least 1TB of storage for efficient file management.

Compensation:
– This part-time role pays a flat rate of $5 per hour.
– Additional opportunities for projects involving Adobe Premiere Pro for those with video editing and coloring skills.
