Position Overview: As a Freelance Podcast and Video Editor, you will be an essential part of our content creation process. This role involves editing both video and audio podcast episodes, as well as various social media videos. The editing process is repetitive, utilizing our efficient editing template to streamline workflows and reduce editing time significantly.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit podcast episodes and social media videos using our editing template.
Utilize programs such as ClickUp, Slack, Adobe Premiere Pro, Riverside, Notion, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Vimeo in your editing workflow.
Meet tight deadlines with a 24-hour turnaround time for edits.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of each edited episode.
Receive and implement feedback from the content team.
Qualifications:
Proficient in using editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Photoshop and have the most up-to-date versions.
Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, Riverside, Notion, and Vimeo.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free work.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to follow a template-based editing process.
Bonus Structure: At PodSupply, we value reliability, effective communication, and the quality of work. A generous bonus of $25 will be awarded for error-free edits, in addition to our competitive per-episode rates ranging from $30-$40.
Training: We provide training on our editing template to ensure a smooth onboarding process and help you become familiar with our efficient workflow.
Opportunity for Growth: While the position starts on a per-gig basis, there is potential for increased hours as our customer base grows. Exceptional editors may have the opportunity for a more permanent role as we expand.
