We are currently recruiting a long-form video editor to produce content for our Youtube channel.
About us:
Our names are Bob & Eve and we are travel content creators, from the UK (Youtube/Instagram/TikTok: @bevetravels). We have been travelling the world since the start of 2023. South east Asia has been the area where we have spent the majority of our time across this period, however recently we have ventured into both South and Central Asia. Our social media channels always aim to show the realities of this type of travel, with a preference towards showcasing adventure and interactions with locals and their way of life.
About the role:
We are hiring a video editor to produce our long-form YouTube videos. These are usually between 10-30 minutes long and in the style of travel vlogs with integration of camera and drone footage. The role will require production of one video per week, expected to increase up to two videos per week towards the end of the year. Footage will be uploaded to dropbox, where they can be downloaded and produced into long form content. You will be given the footage approximately 2 weeks prior to the deadline but there may be times where we have more work available to you / a greater backlog of videos to work on. These videos will be published on Youtube and so access to a copyright-free music platform is a must. The video’s will have a 2 week turn around time, with an expected 1-3 revisions on the draft videos you make. Videos will sometimes have a brief outline of how we would like them structured but the actual production will be left to you. We are looking for editors that are experienced in using Davinci resolve. We are looking for a long-term editor. You will be required to create a paid trial video and if successful will be taken on to produce our ongoing content.
Please familiarise yourself with our existing video’s and social media platforms to ensure you are an appropriate candidate for the role. Payment / salary:
Our videos vary and therefore the payments will depend on the length and style of video / production needed. Payments are negotiable for the right candidate.
15 minute video: $20 USD
30 minute video: $30 USD
About you:
Experienced with editing in Davinci resolve
Ability to colour grade
Access to dropbox
Access to a copyright-free music platform
Available to produce 1-2 longform videos per week
Fluent in English
