Embark on an exciting career journey with us as a Freight Broker / Dispatcher, where you’ll be a crucial player in optimizing the seamless flow of goods for our clients. This dynamic position not only involves coordinating with carriers but also actively seeking and securing new loads to enhance our transportation network. As the primary link between clients and carriers, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of efficient and timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
BROKER/DISPATCHER
Will be responsible for load acquisition – Actively seek and acquire new transportation loads through various channels, including load boards, networking, and industry contacts.
Will be expected to coordinate with clients by building & maintaining relationships with clients & carriers Facilitate seamless communication between clients and carriers to ensure load requirements are met Efficiently dispatch and manage loads to carriers, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules.
Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the transportation process. Prepare accurate documentation for each load, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.
Collaborate with carriers to plan and optimize transportation routes for maximum efficiency Serve as a liaison between clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all dispatched loads. Collaborate with the sales team to market and promote transportation services to potential clients

SALES
Proactively identify potential target businesses for acquisition
Initiate contact with business owners and present compelling acquisition proposals
Request and Analyze financial documents, including P&L statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in freight brokerage, dispatching, or a related logistics role.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable rates and terms.
Excellent communication skills for fostering effective interactions with both clients and carriers.
Familiarity with transportation regulations and a commitment to industry best practices.
Proficiency in relevant software applications, including dispatch and tracking systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Education: College Grad/ Undergrad
Additional education or training in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is advantageous.

Working Conditions:

This role blends office work with active communication with clients and carriers. Occasional travel may be required for industry events or client meetings.
