Dispatcher for Trucking Companies

Salary: $400 per month

Position Type: Full-time, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Dispatcher to join our team and play a crucial role in scheduling pickups and drop-offs for trucking companies. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient transportation operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and managing essential documentation.

Responsibilities:

Schedule pickups and drop-offs for trucking routes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely arrivals and departures, adjusting schedules as needed.
Prepare and organize weekly schedules in advance, ensuring all routes are covered adequately.
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to address any operational issues or changes.
Sign paperwork on behalf of the carrier, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
Organize and maintain essential documents, including invoices, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
Monitor and track vehicle movements using transportation management systems or other relevant tools.
Collaborate with dispatch team members to manage unexpected delays or changes in route plans.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications a plus).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using transportation management software or related tools.
Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred but not required.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
