Freight Dispatcher

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Freight Agent to join our remote team at Cloud Trucking Logistix LLC . In this role, you will manage and coordinate freight transportation services and build strong relationships with clients and carriers. As a key point of contact, your ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues will contribute to our continued growth and success. Must be experienced in sales and negotiation on freight rates and logistics
Must be able to manage a fleet of minimum 5 trucks.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders in the freight transportation industry.
Identify and secure new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and conducting sales activities.
Utilize your own book of business to drive sales and revenue growth.
Coordinate freight movements, including arranging pickups, deliveries and tracking shipments.
Monitor shipment status and proactively address any issues or delays to ensure timely delivery.
Provide accurate and timely updates to clients on the status of their shipments.
Resolve any service-related issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with internal teams, including dispatchers, operations, and accounting, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to make informed decisions and provide value-added solutions to clients.
Utilize transportation management systems and other software tools to efficiently manage and track freight movements.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Freight Agent or in a similar role within the transportation or logistics industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of freight transportation modes, regulations, and industry practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in using transportation management systems and other relevant software tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
