Front End Developer (Ecommerce)

Brand Letter Ltd is a global agency that manages Ecommerce brands and we’re looking for a front end developer that can develop and manage a selection of websites from our portfolio of WordPress stores.

This is a part time role for 20 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be an absolute rockstar when it comes to Ecommerce sites. They should know the ins and outs of WordPress, Woocommerce, and payment gateways like the back of their hand, and be comfortable in the admin environment of each platform.

They’ll also have an eye for design, referencing brand guidelines to build page layouts and keep them in line with the brand aesthetic.

Requirements:

– 100% Fluent in English (advanced/near-native level)
– Proactive, not reactive
– Quick learner
– Extremely detail-oriented
– Reviews their work to make sure it’s 100% correct before submitting
– Ability to shift gears for high/low priority tasks
– Immediate long-term availability
– Fast internet access

Experience:

– WordPress
– Woocommerce
– Elementor
– Figma
– CSS/HTML/JS

Tasks:

– Set up and develop a full Ecommerce store from scratch, making decisions about plugins and other functionality to create a fast site with amazing customer useability
– Create page layouts with page builders like Elementor from either wireframes or Figma
– Connect and test payment gateways
– Update Ecommerce stores with new products
– Optimise page speeds
– Regularly audit websites to ensure they’re running efficiently and suggest improvements
