Job Description

We’re a digital marketing agency looking to work with a front-end developer part-time (10-20 hrs/week), with the potential to grow into a full-time role. Our agency exclusively works with B2B SaaS companies, helping them grow through Paid Acquisition and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO).

This role is ideal for someone experienced and can work with minimal supervision.

**The role**

You will collaborate closely with me, the founder, and some of the Client Delivery team to develop and deliver front-end changes as part of CRO experiments, typically involving A/B and sometimes Multivariate tests. Other team members will handle all ideation and design; your responsibility will be developing these designs primarily using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

**Key responsibilities**

– Build & develop maintainable and scalable code that can be used as part of CRO experiments for multiple clients
– Take ownership of the build, from discovery to final bug checks (QA) and delivery
– Establish best practices within builds – using consistent code and build approach (where relevant), using naming conventions, and clear communication of progress to relevant stakeholders
– Familiarise yourself with our Optimisation Techstack, such as , Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

**The ideal candidate**

– You are a strong communicator: you keep stakeholders in the loop with constant updates, clear communication and timely responses
– You are organised: you can work towards deadlines and manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
– You have accountability: you take ownership of your role and given responsibilities, ensuring work is performed to a high standard
– You understand CRO: you either have existing experience or the desire to be more involved with CRO, understanding common frameworks, terminology, and processes

**What it’s like to work with us**

– We’re a small, remote-first team distributed across the world
– We don’t clock watch or track hours; we operate with trust and focus on delivering high-quality work on time
– We communicate via Slack
– We incentivise, recognise and reward great work!
– Everyone has a voice, regardless of seniority. All that matters is we are constantly improving and delivering excellent results for clients

**Example work**

Here’s an example of what type of work this role involves:

We are constantly running new experiments for our clients. An example experiment we run could be designing, developing and building a new registration page for a SaaS company’s website. This code would be injected client-side and A/B tested with a traffic sample to see if it outperforms the original registration page (The Control).

**Application process**

1. Apply to the role with a brief introduction of yourself and share previous work examples you have completed. If you have CRO experience, please make this clear!

2. 15-30-minute call with myself to discuss your experience and expectations of the role

3. (Optional) Paid test project
