The opportunity
We have an amazing opportunity for a talented Front End (React + Typescript) Developer to help develop our industry leading IoT and Analytics platform.
This role has been created through organic growth of our business and there is huge potential to grow your career within our company. Our team is growing rapidly across both Australia and the Philippines and with a history of internal promotion of our people, there’s never been a better time to join us on our journey.
Required Experience
• 5+ Years Software Development experience, at least 3 in React.
• 5+ Years of HTML5 development, building complex API driven front end applications
• Previous experience consuming Web Services – in particular RESTful APIs
• Previous experience integrating multiple front end components via APIs including from third parties
• Source Code control – Git, bitbucket, etc
• Atlassian suite – Jira, Confluence, bamboo, etc
• CI/CD pipeline creation and management
• Test driven development using automated UI testing frameworks (eg Selenium, fitnesse, etc)
• Great communicator with excellent spoken and written English
Desirable experience
• Previous experience working in react native as well as web
• Previous lead role with team and product responsibility
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP hosting environments
• Familiarity with CloudFlare, Akamai or similar CDN and web security products
• Experience with designing systems with high concurrent user/transaction volumes
• Previous experience in mission critical ‘always-on’, high security system development
• Background in SCADA, industrial controls or IoT platforms a plus
